1. Cookies and similar storage

Cookies are small values stored by a browser. Local storage can persist across visits, while session storage normally lasts for the current tab’s session. Front247 uses browser storage for account sessions and conversation continuity. This policy covers these technologies, not just cookies.

2. Account and navigation storage

The application stores authentication session information to keep authorised users signed in. Session storage remembers an intended private page during sign-in and helps prevent repeated recovery reloads. Clearing or blocking necessary storage may sign you out, interrupt sign-in returns or prevent these functions from working.

Local storage also remembers the selected business and supports account-switch handling. Where used, the sidebar preference cookie lasts seven days. Authentication and business-selection local storage are persistent; sign-in return and recovery session storage normally last for the tab session. Persistence does not guarantee that an authentication session remains valid.

3. Embedded website chat

The website widget uses browser storage to recognise its chat session and maintain continuity on the business’s website. Removing this storage may start a new conversation. The business hosting the widget is responsible for describing any other cookies or tracking used by its own website.

4. Third-party and optional technologies

Hosting, authentication and connected services may use their own storage. Their production cookie names and lifetimes require verification. This draft does not claim that every deployment is free of tracking. Any non-essential analytics or advertising storage requires a confirmed inventory and any consent controls required by applicable law before activation.

5. Your controls

You can inspect, remove or block cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Controls vary by browser and device. Signing out ends the application session; deleting browser storage does not itself delete records held by Front247 or a business. This page does not add a cookie-consent preference centre.
